The show's win that catapulted Kelly Clarkson into the limelight as it also secured her a deal to RCA Records 19 Recordings & "S Records" for a series of albums. The singer has since released several album studios. 3 of these topped the US Billboard 200 chart, while others narrowly missed it. She is considered one of most successful American Idol artists. She tried her hand at popularity with diverse musical and theme style, and often wrote the songs herself. The uniqueness of her voice and singing ability earned her critical acclaim and a number of prestigious award. She's been honored with an award called the Grammy Award 3 times. Her music career is not her only occupation. She has also appeared in TV and movies.
