The son of Des Styles (father) and Anne Cox, Harry Styles was born February 1, 1994, in Holmes Chapel. Harry Styles, a former student at the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School was the founder of a band called White Eskimo with three fellow students. They won the 2009 Battle of Bands thanks to their excellent performance. He always had an interest in music, but also wanted to become the profession of a lawyer, physiotherapist, or even a scout. A part-time job in a city bakery was his first job to earn money for the family. Harry Styles performed Is not She Lovely (Stevie Wonder) at the auditions of 2010 to The X Factor. This meant that his group had to be split. Following the audition on The X Factor the jury Nicole Scherzinger suggested that Harry Styles join the group that was to be named One Direction along with Liam Payne Zayn Malik Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson. The group's creation was a fact in 2010 and the five young people were sponsored by Simon Cowell. In the contest, the group performed songs like My Life Would Suck Without You by Kelly Clarkson and Total Eclipse of the Heart by Bonnie Tyler so the group was one of the contenders for the prize. However, they finished third, behind Rebecca Ferguson. Harry Styles was not the winner, but Cowell was a millionaire in a contract for One Direction.
