Arianna Stassinopoulos Huffington (Greek American) is a Greek American writer, syndicated-columnist and businesswoman. She was the founder of The Huffington Post and the CEO of Thrive Global. Author of fifteen books. Arianna Huffington is a writer, philanthropist, television personality and owner of the independently free online news publication The Huffington Post. Originally from Greece, Arianna Huffington moved to England with her family at the age of 16. In Cambridge University she earned a MA qualification in Economics. She was the first person from outside the UK to become the president of The Cambridge Union at the age 21. Being a conservative syndicated blog following her graduation, she went on to become the voice of Huffington Post. It was her celebrity that helped to attract several famous contributors who shared their opinions on the news as well as politics and culture. Arianna's fame started in 2003, after she was a candidate for an independent in the California recall vote in order to replace then-Governor Davis.
