Andrea Elson
Andrea Hope Elson was an American actor. Elson started her career in television as a child model as well as actress. Her most famous role was Alice Tyler, portrayed by Elson in CBS"Sci-Fi. Andrea tried out for the lead role in ALF, the 1986 hit show. The show won her. Andrea was a part of a variety of hit TV shows in addition to Movies of the Weekly for many more years before she quit the entertainment world to spend time with her family. Andrea Elson's job as Lynn Tanner, Willie and Kate Tanner's teenage daughter was not easy for her. In 2000, people reported that she was struggling to become an individual woman in front of the viewers of sitcoms. The green-eyed New York City native grew as a traveler because of the job in advertising that her father had. Prior to turning ten, old, she lived between New York Chicago San Diego and Los Angeles. Andrea was living in San Diego when she met an agent. The part for which she had auditioned won. Fusco justified the claim by saying "ALF has a lifespan of 285 years which means he's an adult who is able to drink alcohol." When ALF began to be increasingly popular, NBC said that Fusco could no longer have ALF drinking alcohol before the children. It was considered a bad image of a role for a role model. Fusco believed that ALF could drink alcohol even when he was an adult. In 1995, he was diagnosed with lymphoma. It was successfully treated and his cancer was in remission until the year 2019. He died from the disease on the 26th of June, 2019, at the age of 75 at the Lillian Booth Actors Home in Englewood New Jersey.
