Ana Isabelle Bio

Ana Isabel Acevedo Aviles was born in Puerto Rico. It is her profession to be a performer, actress, and dancer. She released her debut album Por El Amor in December 2007 and was awarded Univision's Viva el Sueno award for the year 2009. Ana Isabelle was unstoppable when she was able to land Steven Spielberg's West Side Story re-make in New York City as Rosalia. She joined Laurence Fishburne on the film Imprisoned. Isabelle also co-starred Coppola's Dementia 13 remake. Ana's US Television debut was in Seasons Of Love, opposite Taraji P. Henson and Gladys Knight. She also played in Coppola's remake of "Dementia 13". The other television credits of Ana are Younger, Strangers, and Big Dogs. She made her New York Stage Debut Off Broadway in the musical Like it Like That with Tito Nieves and won Broadway Worlds Regional Award for Best Actress and for her portrayal as Eva Peron in Asolo Repertory Theatre Evita as well as Anita in the Guthrie The Theatre's West Side Story. Singing to sold out audiences she's graced performance stages in concert in her solo performance and singing duets with Gilberto Santa Rosa at Carnegie Hall, Placido Domingo, Jose Feliciano, Luis Fonsi and Citifield singing her rendition of the Star-Spangled Banner for the NY Mets. Ana Isabelle released three successful albums in Latin America as well as in the US. There were more than 30 million Latinos voted for her to be the winner from Viva el Sueno a Univision produced music reality program in which Ana Isabelle won. Billboard Magazine named Ana Isabelle as an Artist to Watch.
