KimAmerican actress Elizabeth Chase Olsen, born February 16, 1989, is Elizabeth Chase Olsen. Olsen was born in Sherman Oaks, California. She started acting at just four years old. She made her debut film role in the thriller Martha Marcy May Marlene in 2011. For her performance, she was highly acclaimed and was nominated for an Critics' Choice Film Award, among other awards, followed by a role in the horror film Silent House. Olsen was selected for the BAFTA Rising Star Award in 2011. She graduated two years later from New York University. Olsen was recognized worldwide for her portrayal of Wanda Maximoff / Scarlet Witch in the Marvel Cinematic Universe media franchise and was featured in the films of superheroes Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015), Captain America: Civil War (2016), Avengers: Infinity War (2018), Avengers: Endgame (2019) and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022), in addition to the mini-series WandaVision (2021). The actress was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award as well as an Golden Globe Award for her performance in WandaVision. She was co-producer and lead actor in Sorry for Your Loss (2018), receiving a Critics Choice Television Award nomination playing the role of widow.
